This is our famous 1000 foot system.
When a signal is received, the receiver activates a tone (volume controlled) and light emitting diode. The light emitting diode may be reset at the owners convenience.
The Driveway Alert (tm) driveway alarm system works at all times and does not have to be reset. All systems can be used with multiple sensors and receivers. The receiver comes in a nice compact size of 4 1/4" X 3 1/4" X 1". The weatherproof transmitter is approximately 4" by 4" and powered by a 9 volt battery that will normally last up to one year.
The sensor works best when mounted 2 - 2 1/2 feet above
the ground to a tree, on a building or post up to 3 feet (ideal) from the driveway or area to be monitored, the sensor is set to send out a 40 foot beam but it may be adjusted up to a 80 foot beam by changing the sensitivity settings. The sensor has a 40 degree field of view.
The beam is very narrow and will detect large animals and moving vehicles. When the beam is crossed the transmitter sensor will send a wireless signal to the receiver plugged into a 120 volt outlet in your home or office, where a 3 - 5 second alarm is sounded, similar to a microwave alarm. The driveway sensor transmitter also has a antenna to transmit the signal up to 1000 feet.
